The Activa range was designed to comply with the very latest safety standards including the “city crash test”. The increased specification of either the steel or aluminium bars ensures an increased maximum loading of up to 100kg depending on the vehicle. (Generally around 25Kg more than most alternatives)
Designed to fit all original equipment fitted roof railing bars including the extra large and new profiles.
A few models require an additional kit to fit different profiles of OE bar sections. These consist of 2 rubber parts for each foot and are very easily changed.
Supplied fully assembled, the foot contains an integral tool which when turned, clamps the foot to the bar and the roof rail simultaneously. Locks for all four feet are standard with a single key operation.
Activa Steel Bars are of a heavier gauge, for strength and zinc coated against corrosion.
Activa Aluminium Bars are extremely strong but light weight and have a specially designed channel to ensure safe, secure and easy fitting of accessories such as roof boxes, cycle carriers, ski racks etc.
